awwww...im all teary eyed now!! Boy do you sound just like my mother and probably every mother in this world...I am not sure what to say because your right..time just flys by! It seems like awhile I ago I was the one who just started school and was learning how to tie my shoes and say the alphabet...Eirisa there is no doubt in my mind that a terrific girl like you can not handle being a parent! When the day comes when your con is all grown up and starts talking back and throwing fits..I know you can take it..You are such a strong girl and one of my biggest role models and I'm sure your son will always love you in regardless!!This was such a wonderful poem and I loved reading it!! If your son was older to understand poems like these I know he would truly love it like the rest of us! Your great dont ever stop writing!
    5/5 as always sis!

Oh!!! My, “Wait a Minute” A wonderfully written
poem so real to life, it put tears in my eyes. I know
these emotions all to well having been blessed with
a son, right there with my wife I felt and saw what
changes she went through. Knowing our baby is a
boy, we would rub her belly and talk to “Jesse” ever
night at bedtime. From his birth to now at 21 it’s
been a flash “And think to myself please could you just wait a minute”
Glorious Girl! True to life, very heartfelt write. ( :

Oh I love it!! My nieces and nephews are so precious to me! I am all about the kids!! One say they can't even crawl and seems like the very next they're walking. I can't even believe how fast it's all going by. But he has an incredible Mommy (hunbun830), she is always taking pictures and video taping so we can look back and see all the special things that little munchkin does. Your poem was awesome and that little one is also lucky to have you...5/5

Very good message. i know just how you feel. i felt the same when my son is born, and still feel the same now and he is 9. though now, it's almost more bittersweet, because he truly is growing up, and i just want to stop time and keep him my little boy forever.

I dream of the feelings that you describe in the first two stanzas. The last stanza broke my heart, and those are the only feelings I fear about motherhood. Your genuine and true love shows for your son in this piece. Keep it up!

    God Bless,
