11 second dream

Hello reader
Reading my poem
Trying to figure out what it's about
You'll keep reading
As I keep writing
I don't even know what it's about
So you keep reading
And I'll keep writing
Maybe we can figure this out together
It could be about death
It could be about love
It could even be about the weather
So enjoy this poem
I hope you do
I hope I enjoy writing it too
But right now
I have a thought
Lets make this poem about you
You're sitting on the ground
And you're just in your own little world
You're just minding your own business
Nothing's going to happen
But lets say something terrible will happen
Some one will come
A man from my poem
One of the killers
And you will be the killed
You will be the Innocent
You will be the one dead on the ground
You end up lying in your own puddle of blood
Anything could happen
Don't think it wont happen to me
Because that's what they always think
Last year in 2004 a girl at my school did die
I didn't know her
But a lot of people did
and the next day they did cry
She was getting mail
And she turned around
And she was hit by a car
She died
Never thought it would happen to her
Probably had her life all planed out
She wanted to be something
She wanted to have kids
She had a crush on so and so
And her dreams fell apart
A car ran them over
It hit her dreams and they just died
Just like she did in the hospital
A young girl probably only 14
She died
You might too
A few days ago
Some one I barely talk to on the Internet
Four of his friends died
Another car accident
Drunk driver hit them
He was in a truck
They were in a little car
They died
He cried
It's true
All of this
It could happen to me
It could happen to you
All of this poem is true
So don't think it won't happen to you
You could be dead
Normal dreams are only seven seconds
Before you die you have an eleven second dream
You could be dead right now
Just dreaming
Fantasy could become reality
You could be in a dream
A dead dream
You could be dead
Have fun with your life
Before you die
Now I'll turn on the light
And let's hope your alive
Open your eyes
Wake up
Stop dreaming
Snap out of it
