Ghostly Shadow

by xEmmax   Oct 25, 2005

Shadows beneath her blue grey eyes
Like thunder clouds in blackened skies,
Drifting in a haunted trance
Her steps are silent, a ghostly dance.

Watching the world from a different place
Moving gently, she leaves no trace,
Nightmares break her hopeful dreams
Howling winds devourer her screams.

Pain is hidden deep within
Scars litter her perfect skin,
A straying tear dampens her cheek
Mind damaged, her heart so weak.

An addiction to pain she tried to hide
Countless thoughts of suicide,
A lonely spirit who drifts in fear
Her only wish is to disappear.

I love you emma, your poems are so incredible, and it's quite scary how much I can relate to them! So if you ever try to commit suicide, think of us and imagine how we'll suffer without you!!! luv Helen xxx
