Around the corner and down the hall

by Jeffrey   Dec 19, 2005

Around the corner and down the hall
there lies a personal paradise
concealed from wall to wall
imagination sharpens, thoughts become precise

the creator offers an unthinkable chance
for dreams to craft reality
asking for your stance
on a newborn world actuality

weighed down by the temptation
to have it all end
glorified ideas of annihilation
to escape problems we can't mend

suddenly the sun takes a vacation
euphoric extinguishing says your goodbye
human soul amputation
and everything else needed for existance to die

shielded from the terror within your sacred place
step forth onto the battered ground
with a smile upon your broken face
what's this new place that you've found
