Depression

by Michael D Nalley   Dec 19, 2005

From within your soul the darkness grows
The gray dark matter that the aura knows
Nothing but void, and empty space
Longing to be filled with His grace

What once was in, now is out
Leaving no room for a doubt
All alone you cannot cope
Yet together we have hope

The soul that seeks no divine force
Is traveling a destructive course
When you are down just look above
Past the shadow that clouds the love

The same darkness brought by night
Has no power in daylight
Evil and darkness cannot reflect
What our will chooses to reject
