Troubled Lies

by Ren   Jul 9, 2006

Don't think for once,
That I believe what you say,
Don't think that I don't see,
The guilt in your eyes,
And don't believe,
That I can't tell,
What I hear,
Your sneaky lies...

It's written all over your face,
In a trembling sweat,
All I can hear is your heart pounding,
Your eyes aren't level with mine,
I can tell,
I know,
That what you're trying to tell me,
Is something that I'm not to buy...

Why do you make up riddles?
Why am I the one to solve?
It hurts to know,
That the truth I will not get,
So why do you bother?
To break my heart,
When its all your fault,
That your world is falling apart...

So when you speak,
You need to think,
You need to know,
That when you tremble,
The lies show,
So stop what you're doing,
Before you fall in too deep,
Because the road of lying,
Is built to be steep...
