Another lie

What could be romantic,
what could be happy,
if life was all that great,
why do i find it so crappy?

you lied to me again,
i don't get why,
you said you're going to sleep,
but you ended up with another lie.

we could've went to eat,
we could've went to the dyke,
we could've found a seat,
and watch the sunrise's lovely sight.

once again the ending is the same,
disappointment and tears,
all this because you were lame,
and backed out because of your fears.

you don't trust me,
you don't believe me,
sometimes i wonder how can this be?
i can't believe what i see.

    I thought the rhymes were ok. 'crappy' haha, I actually laughed at that line.
    The poem was good, just seemed childish. I guess because of the language and vocabulary. OH well keep trying!

    It's very good. Kind of disjointed, though, and you never really say what happened (which could be intentional, but it's not clear either way).
