God's will

by Daisy if you do   Sep 18, 2006

You refer to it as the accident,
As if it wasn't meant to be,
I know sometimes you wish it hadn't,
But, think of what you've seen,
A beautiful daughter with a smile upon her face,
The words "I love you Daddy" and the warmth of her embrace,
The innocence of a child brings the loss of all regret,
Those four little words, you never will forget,
Gathered round your bed that night they thought your time had come,
God decided that your work on earths not done,
Yes, you may have knocked upon God's golden door,
But he whispered softly to you, "Son there's something more",
A momm's kind and caring heart that hardly left your side,
Asking for a miracle, in God she did confide,
The many hands that folded silently in prayer,
Asking for God's Will and his gentle loving care,
The cards and well wishes when your spirits feeling low,
To say the least, Twas not your time to go,
See nothing is an accident: it's all been perfectly planned,
It's not up to us to question or even to understand,
So when we prayed for God's Will. We never did conceive,
That miracles can happen if only you believe.
