I'm Sorry

by Shae   Jan 7, 2007

Couldn't you of just waited a few minutes?
I guess you're in a hurry to die.
Take a few minutes,
relax, and enjoy life the way it is.
I'm your daughter,
but I'm not so happy to say.
Just because I'm trying my best not to be like you,
It seems like you are holding a grudge against me.
I'm sorry I'm not perfect.
I just can't be,
It is impossible.
I pray I don't loose mom too,
but it seems like its going that way.
I'm sitting here waiting,
I'm sitting here dying.
Waiting for a normal life...
But will I have to wait forever?

Well done, it seems alittle forced in places and in others it just dosn't seem to flow all that well, but over all a great poem, 4/5

This was so very sad...but such a pleasure to read.
The emotion and depth in this piece are clear to see for anyone who reads it.
    Excellent work on this.
