I Love You Sissy

Today,
A luminous angel came up to me.
Her eyes so soft,
Her smile the heavens sunshine,
The happiness she held,
Pulsing from her body to others.

She smiled up at me,
Handing me a piece of paper,
I smiled, and took it.
As I opened it,
A heart was revealed,
Drawn in crayon with two little people by it,
One I, and the other her.

I looked down and nearly cried,
As she smiled brightly,
And beamed with pride.

I grabbed her into a hug,
As she whispered softly in my ear,
Words I will never forget for as long as I live,
Words that filled my heart as she kissed my cheek,
Those words, that I feel the same for her,
My whole soul, erupting with glee...

"I love you sissy,"
Were those beautiful words, she had whispered to me.
