Silowets

by Allie   Aug 18, 2016

Walking down the street in the middle of the night, I see two silowets in window. There's a man and woman. It looks like they're in love. He's leaning in for a hug, she quickly pushes him away. He raises his fist and strikes her. I can hear her yell " stop. Please stop" . He starts screaming at her, I'm not sure what he's saying. He strikes her again and she's yelling for help, screaming " please don't kill me". He says " this is your fault, you asked for this, you started this". The hits get harder, screams get lower. Everything seems to go silent, I'm standing there in absolute horror. I whisper to myself" I think he just killed her". But he loved her, he cared about her. But a little bit of rejection is all it took for him to lose his mind, for him to take her life. She's no longer hurting, pleading for help. She's no longer screaming for him to stop. Fate took over and she's no longer here. But not once did she show the world the true silowets.
