We'll Last

Ever since you came into my life,
The stars shine amazingly bright.
You make me forget all my worries,
As I dance happily in the moonlight.

I no longer have to pretend to be happy,
The smile on my face is real, not fake.
It was like I was sleeping in darkness,
Then you came and helped me wake.

Why did it take me so long,
To finally realize that it was you?
The one I've been searching for,
The one I should wake up next to.

Baby, you know you are my angel,
You were sent down to me from above.
After all this time that we've shared together,
I know that you're the one I'll forever love.

So, thank you darling, for everything,
For helping me erase my painful past.
I will forever belong to you, I promise,
I know this time that we'll last.
