A day in the light
can't beat a minute in the dark

all your happy memories
are nothing but a spark

evil penetrates deep inside your flesh
making you shiver with fear

it wraps around you tight, you start to choke
you search over and over, but know there is no cure

darkness overcomes the light
you just wanna scream

you move your lips, but no sound emerges
it's all hopeless, or so it would seem
