All Of My Wildest Dreams Can't Beat You.

The intensity of the world rests in your eyes,
and my heart seems to stop with just one look.
I discovered it's a glorious revolution of some sorts,
and oh, it's true - One breath is all that it took.

You stand there with a hammer in your hand,
as if you're trying to uncover something you can't see.
And I'll admit to this innocence I'm holding onto,
because for now - this picture looks too real to me.

Wishes and dreams are pouncing on my shoulder,
and the confusion is chipping away at my mind.
Because this sudden realization is suffocating me,
and I'm still scared to see what I'll one day find.

So as I stand here with a fear the size of the world -
laying on my shoulders; You know what I'll do?
I'll stomp through the world and all that remains,
because even all of my wildest dreams can't beat you.

    Ahhhh I loved this!! Wow hun this just made my day because that final line truly summed up everything I feel right now into a few words ... amazing! I loved how effortlessly everything just flowed .. it flowed naturally from you heart and it showed. The imagery was beautiful and I was captivated.

    An amazing piece. and a very enjoyable read. your choice of words were outstanding and the flow was absolutely flawless. this piece was heartfelt and very deep. the emotions were spectacular. 5/5.
