Can time wear away a scar?
heal a heart left ajar?
can time bring you back to me?
and make things how they used to be?
can time bring me a new slate
one clean of anger - no trace of hate?
can time undo what has been done?
is it you or i whose the lucky one?
i have this life and i'm breathing in
but everyday?
i cannot win!
you have left to where i cannot follow dare i hope that will change tomorrow?
