Death whispers (Inspired by Elie Wiesel's NIGHT)

by StandStill   Feb 11, 2008

A whispered kiss
drags you into the abyss
you close your eyes
dreaming of an unseen sunrise
someone tries to awaken you
you shrug him off, not something you care to do
you hear a calling in your ear
it tells you there is nothing to fear
you take the voice's hand
it shows you a strange new land
no pain
no strain
there is no difference
no indifference
death whispers through you
and you let it take your icy hand
