Write me a poem

Wish i could write
my own poem about me and you
and how two plus two
still equals six
in my world

but i can't write about myself
so i guess that idea's off the shelf
wish somebody would care enough
to give me some of their love
in the form
of a poem

it's a selfish want
i will give you that
it's not there to flaunt
it's just something that will forever
haunt
me
