Story Of A Lifetime

She comes home
with tears in her eyes
another one of those days
why is it any surprise?

Her mum opens her door
and walks over to her bed
saying if she doesn't shut up
She'll get the fist instead

She shuts up of course
but when mum leaves shes crying
wondering why no one cares
and she's contemplating dying

Her friends no longer love her
her boyfriend broke her heart
her family couldn't give a damn
her life keeps falling apart

she purges up all her food
she cuts herself to ease the pain
she doesn't know what to do anymore
one more thing, she'll go insane

A loud screech comes from the street
she runs to see what it could be
her beautiful dog, her only friend
blood as far as the eye can see

Tears are streaming down her face
She screams out to the sky
She can't believe whats happening to her
She tries to wonder why

She walks back into the house
blindly stumbling around
she walks into the kitchen
she can't hear a sound

She grabs a knife from the drawer
and stabs it in her heart
its the story of a lifetime
a new life now she'll start
