Numb the pain, Cover the shame.

by SamanthaMichelle   Feb 13, 2008

I'm not a cutter. This is for my friend.

the blade slices through my porcelain skin. fresh red
blood sliding down my arm- dripping off the bony wrist of
a young girl. my face blank, mind slowly slipping away,
along witht he pain. i watch as the carpet slowly becomes
hidden under a layer of crimson. the problems soaked in my
own numbness, the innocence of my rosy cheeks spring back
to life. a smile spreads across the tear-streaked face.
