Major Depression

To be told you have a illness
thats unlike all the rest
to live all your life depressed

medication and therapy
that might help
we will have to see

yet here i am drug free
living this life in misery

for all of you that have depression
i wish i could get off that easily

when i wake up in the morning
i have find a reason to go on
the battle never stops for me
i don't know what happiness means

the meds never helped
the doctors didn't know what to say
family and friends means
nothing to me

all i have is this misery
