Sweet Angel

by Arun Khan   Feb 17, 2008

The tears ran free from her cheeks
As she begged for his life
He wandered on inferno creeks
Clutching his knife
She twisted and turned
With every step he took
His heart yearned, before God she so burned
While reciting the Holy book
Standing there they did discuss
He so hated that night his darkness did touch

At his kingdom she did pray
To stop God from taking her love away
And love has a way to entangle
That's why she begged, Satan's sweet Angel

They used to meet near the crimson sea
Somehow this Angel and the Devil were meant to be
Romantic evenings he'd pull down a star
Heartfelt goodbyes they couldn't stop crying
Alone she'd watch the abyss from afar
As they parted they swore they'd never stop trying
And He let roses bloom in his kingdom Hell
This was more beautiful than any message God and his servants could tell

At the holy kingdom she did pray
To stop God from taking her love away
And love has a way to entangle
That's why she begged, Satan's sweet Angel

With fury and wrath divine decisions
Malice and hate demonic collisions
And trapped between this war
The angel weeps alone on the ivory floor
To war her lover and Lord went
All the while spiteful prophets told her to repent

At a judging kingdom she did pray
To stop God from taking her love away
And love has a way to entangle
That's why she begged, Satan's sweet Angel

One dark night fate favored black
And Satan crept into heaven, to get his Angel back
Not a single feather fell
As tearful Lucifer offered his Angel Hell
With loving lips she did agree
But in Hell an Angels innocence can never be

At the kingdom she did pray
To stop from Satan from going away
But his black heart beated more
For his love, than a million servants loving God on the ivory floor
So he walked out Heavens front gates
Kissing her goodbye, proving sometimes God hates
And love has a way to entangle
That's why she still cries Satan's sweet Angel.
