Lost in the past needin to move on

Just living day to day...
lost in an ocean
trying to move on but remaining in the past

thought i was stronger than ever
only to find it was false hope
premonitions of the future
never to become reality.

tried to move on...only to find that it causes pain beyond belief...
you're in my dreams
my memories and my mind all the time
yet you deny that i can love you

then tell me this...
why is my heart heavy when i think of you
and why do i feel so bad when i'm supposed to have moved on?
