Why Don't We Live in the Dark?

by No Need For A Name   Feb 18, 2008

So you think your living
But the light is shining so bright here
Ever think of forgiving
Yourself for your fear
It's not your fault
The dark is not for everyone
No need to halt
Production on your makeshift sun

People ask me
Why don't we live in the dark?
Should be asking
Why doesn't somebody start?
Living outside
The lives we are given
In the unknown
That is truly living

Where are the borders
I forgot them so long ago
The lights corners
Remind me of ones and zeroes
For those who live there
Live without any risk
While those who are here
Are what they call virus

People ask me
Why don't we live in the dark?
Should be asking
Why doesn't somebody start?
Living outside
The lives we are given
In the unknown
That is truly living

So don't spit out another word
Unless it is to save the world
We had the plan to live here first
But you may join unless you're cursed

People ask me
Why don't we live in the dark?
Should be asking
Why doesn't somebody start?
Living outside
The lives we are given
In the unknown
That is truly living
