Spring

Winter is ending,
Spring is near.
I can't wait,
For this warm year.

Children will be outside,
Having so much fun.
Enjoying every minute,
Of the beautiful,bright sun.

No more cold weather,
Or falling snow.
The long lost leaves,
Are finally beginning to grow.

Spring is my favorite,
Time of year.
I'm so glad,
Spring is almost here.

i know this is lame..but i wrote it for class last year.

    I'm glad spring is almost here also because that means my birthday is nearing. I actually liked this poem. It was upbeat and a quick read that just made me smile because I am tired of the cold weather.

    "No more cold weather,
    Or falling snow.
    The long lost leaves,
    Are finally beginning to grow."
    ^ I think the last sentence would sound better if it was "Finally begin to grow"
