To hold you forever.

by Helene   Feb 21, 2008

Sweet whispers,
"Forever and ever my love",
the words gave me strength,
so I wouldn't give up.
Your voice, so calm like
The Sea in your eyes,
where I dive in search
for a lost paradise.
Just us, and time stand stills again,
whenever you hold me,
My wounds are mended;
so lost, and yet so home again,
and I'm finally done
with a smile pretended.

And I want to hold you forever,
submitted to every breath that you take,
And I want to sleep right next to you still,
Knowing you'll be there whenever I wake.
And I want to hold you forever.

Tormented,
Whenever you left me,
desperate begging to find you abide,
In famine, wanting to taste you,
There's a feeling I recklessly used to deny;
But you made me trust it once more,
And now I love stronger than ever before.

And I want to hold you forever,
submitted to every breath that you take,
And I want to sleep right next to you still,
Knowing you'll be there whenever I wake.
And I want to hold you forever.
Please, let me hold you forever.
