Links among Lovers

by MissAlotta   Feb 22, 2008

Words should not be spoken
If the meaning lacks the cause
Gaining someones trust
Could just invoke more flaws

Screams will not be silent
If truths veil beneath lies
One person may try to fix things
As the other shed more cries

Ignorance may be bliss
but hiding will not cure
what has been so common
A love that is so obscure

One may try to endure
and seclude themselves within
Hiding beneath the covers
too upset to raise their chin

We might want to blame them
and a last resort to be our whim
but the truth stands to reason
that like us, they're a victim.
