The Stitches Undone

by A Phoenyx in Flight   Feb 26, 2008

The wound you left behind was almost healed.
But you ripped the stitches out to soon.
Now it is reopened.

The pain comes washing back.
More intense then the last time.
I have to fight back the tears.

I was almost over you.
I almost forgot what we had been through.
Now I'm back to the beginning.

You say you still love me.
This has to be some cruel joke.
A trick to mess with my heart.

How can you still love me.
When just the other day you said you despised me.
How can you do this to me?

I don't want you back in my life.
I don't want to go through
the same thing that broke my heart.

My heart was almost healed form the last time.
Then you went and said these things.
Now the stitches are undone.

TO SABRINA
HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME?
