I want to believe

I want to believe that miracles really do happen.
I want to believe that theres something more to life than misery.
I want to believe that dreams do come true.

I want to believe that love can really last forever.
I want to believe that everything happens for a reason.
I want to believe that one day ill see they who i have lost.

I want to believe in something other than reality.
I want to believe in life after death.
I want to believe in karma, honesty and trust.

I want to believe that life is better than it seems.
I want to believe that not everyone will hurt me.
I want to believe that i am worth something.

But everything that happens gives me no doubt that i am right to not believe.
How can i believe that everything happens for a reason when life hurts.
People die.
People Suffer.
People Lie.
But there are things that i do believe.

I believe that we are in hell.
I believe that theres no point in dwelling in the past
I believe that people are always going to hurt you so you better get used to it.
I believe that i will get stronger day by day untill im unbreakable.
I believe that no-one can make me happy except myself.
I believe that ill try
I believe that ill suceed
I believe in me

    I'm glad u believe in urself, because it doesn't seem u believe in much else. have a little faith my dear :) life is tough, but it's all about finding the happy little moments in the big pool of bad ones, so good luck fishing!

    I see your opinion and stuggle in this poem its very clear. this is very mature i like this poem. keep writing.... we all have bad times and good times in life. you gotta live with them both. people tend to remember the bad though. ummm excellent poem
