Everyone is special

by June   Feb 26, 2008

We don't all look the same ,
nor can we do the same things.
For we are all different in many ways ,
instead of accepting this at times unkind this brings.
I often remind my kids that everyone is special ,
no matter what a person looks like on the outside.
Inside we are all exactly the same ,
and should not be made to feel like we have to hide.
Disability ,colour ,size or sexuality ,
should not be teased and laughed at.
There is a saying 'beauty is skin deep' ,
but it seems not many take note of that.
It is not whats outside but the inside that counts ,
for everyone is special in their own way.
Ask yourself 'would you judge a book by it's cover ?' ,
thats me done and this matter all I am going to say.
