Stupid pup

by silhouette fairy   Feb 27, 2008

Alone in her room she sits,
silent and still.
Confused and not knowing what to do.
She looks at him, eyes glazed over,
flesh ripped from him abdomen.
The hand gives a twitch,
she jumps back,
though knows nothing will happen.
Relaxing she settles again
and gives out a howl of sorrow.
Knowing what she's done
dangering her family,
she doesn't know what had happened
but she now knows she's in trouble.
Finally the family is here,
not in human form.
No, her punishment would be too easy.
They all cry "You stupid pup. How could you?"
She thought she loved him
and that nothing would happen,
but now is her judgment time.
Walking out of the house
to face the pack
she hopes they can forgive her,
but at the same time she knows they shouldn't.
She breaks down crying,
begging for forgiveness.
They turn on her,
lunging from every side.
She surrenders letting them take her
and slowly bit by bit they tear her apart.
Protecting their pack,
riding themselves of the stupid pup.
