So many miles away
Separated by seas
But deep down I know

I wait for you late at night
Because time keeps us apart

A beat skips in my heart

We talk for hours
About everything in life
You've kept me safe
And away from the knife

When times get hard
It's to you I cry
And every time you have to leave
It feels like a final goodbye
