I wish you were here...
i wish you were here to wipe away my tears

i wish you were here to hold me tight
to hold me tight through the night

i wish i you were here to help me get by
to help me get by and not cry

i wish you were here to help me get through
to help me get through the pain and just be able to be with you

i wish you were here to hear me say
to hear me say that hopefully one day

one day i might be able to stop dreaming of you
and just be able to be with you
