Because of You

You are my moon, my sun,
The air that I breathe.
My night, my day,
The ground beneath my feet.

When you speak my name,
My heart skips a beat.
When you say,"I love you."
I find it hard to breathe.

I'm saddest when you're gone,
But happiest when you're here.
I know I'll always be okay,
Just as long as you're there.

I can never be sad,
When you're nearby.
I no longer have the feeling,
Or the need to cry.

These new feelings are strange,
I've never felt this way before.
I can honestly say you're the first,
To make this empty heart soar.

If you wanna know how I feel,
I love you.. yes, it's true.
And it will forever be that way,
No matter what we may go through.

You may not believe me,
But it was love at first sight.
You hold my heart in your hands,
And please... hold on tight.

Because of you,
My eyes shine bright.
I'm no longer in the dark,
But forever in the light.

So thank you for everything,
All that you've done for me.
Without you I'm not sure,
Just where I'd be.
