Standing up high

If I shall die tomorrow
I know that I have lived without regrets
Some people say there are things they would change
However I would not change a thing
I looked up at this mountain when I was younger
With all of the struggles I had to live with
I can say that I am now looking at everyone
From on top of the mountain that I looked up at
I know that there all many things that I have done wrong
But I would not change anything that happened in the way it did
I know that everything happens for a certain reason
No matter what I say or do I know that I have died a happy man
I have overcome everything that has stepped in my way
Along climbing that mountain because nothing in life comes easy
You must work for it and go across rough paths and deep trenches
To reach the top and that I had done
Some people say that you have a book of your life
That was started the day that you were born and you fill out the pages
And I can finally say my book would be complete
It would go from my hard struggles in life and wrestling
To wrestling in college my life long dream
And in my college life it would speak of how I helped out everyone I could
And when someone needed something I would do anything I could to give them that
Somewhere in between the lines it would say how I finally decided to open to someone
That I never thought I would have a chance with
Even though the world keeps revolving and we can not stop it
If I could stop the world right now I would
I do not want to go into the future because I am afraid of what might happen
Will I make everyone proud of me?
Will I do something that I will later regret?
Will I become an even better person than what I am?
How far will I go into life without knowing what its like to wake up and be happy to be alive?
I can not answer these questions yet
I hope they will be answered
But only time will tell
So if I can stop the world from revolving I would
Stop it right now because you never realize how far you have come in life
Until time stands still and you just feel great that you are alive
You never look back and wish you have acted differently
Rather than just living your days in the same motion
Sometimes you must try something new
Take chances
Deal with what happens
Keep moving
Never stop
And just wait for that moment in your life
When you feel that you are unstoppable
No matter what anyone says to you
It will not let you down in anyway possible
So just stop and think at your life and look at how far you have come
In just a short amount of time
And know that no matter when you die you will be happy
Don’t regret anything
Just learn from the mistake and how you can change it next time
Never wish you would do something different
Because then your world can stop but in a depressant style
And not happy and satisfying
The truth is you don’t know what is going
To happen tomorrow
Life can be a crazy ride and nothing is guaranteed
So just live your life take chances and learn from them
Always be who you are never change
For if you change at some point you will go back
To the person you were
Finally I have to say that in order to stand up for what
You believe in you have to be willing to stand alone
So go for what you want take the chance and you
Will get what you want and you to will be standing on top of the mountain alone
And know if you die today you will be happy and you will rest in peace
