Two People

by Simply Josh   Mar 4, 2008

Torn between two people,
Torn between tow hearts.
Torn between two smiles,
Two images that won't part.

Two contrasting personalities,
Both lovable and cute.
Hopefully choosing one over another,
Will not lead to a dispute.

Nor to a broken heart,
For I can't deal with such sadness.
A friendship - to be content with,
In this world of madness.

The decision I don't want to make,
The consequence too overbearing.
Seeming unjust and improper.
I am not that daring.

So I'll simply wait,
On them to decide.
Come what may,
I'll take the ride.

A great poem. Very nicely written and well thought out. :] The first stanza really caught my attention and held until the end.
    "Torn between two people,
    Torn between tow hearts.
    Torn between two smiles,
    Two images that won't part."

    ^my favorite stanza^
    :] 5/5.
