Needing you

by Xx Chrissi xX   Mar 4, 2008

Needing you,
Like the flames need the dark,
I survive just fine without you,
But you just can't see the spark.

Wanting you,
Like a stranger across the room,
The eyes connected instantly,
Yet acting spells out doom.

Loving you,
Like the sunset and the see,
Just an hours passing,
And the meeting brings such glee.

Hating you,
For the things that you do,
I know nothing you ever said,
Was ever completely true.

Avoiding you,
Like the sun and the moon,
I always seem invisible,
If ever you're in the room.

Missing you,
Like a fallen star,
Nothing will ever fill the space,
Where you no longer are.

    Hiya Chrissi,
I loved the lay out on this one. You have penned your feelings about your step-dad well. I hope things settle for you and the rest of your family.
