A lighter pink

by MorbidCupcake   Mar 6, 2008

As the scars turn to a lighter pink
The tears last even longer
Five minutes ago you slapped me across the face
And I can't do a thing about it
You hold me down, letting more sorrow drip inside
And I can't stop you
Your harsh words, clenched teeth, fist against my cheeks
It all happened so fast
I wanna cry my eyes out until I fade away
I wanna run the blade across my veins
Then crawl into a hole and hide from you
But I have to hold the tears back
Have to try and calm that strong urge to break
Because you taught me crying makes it worse
