Maelstrom

by Faithless Watermelon   Mar 7, 2008

I'm stuck in this reality,
Right here with no identity,
Inside this tattered young body,
Rotting and getting too weak..

I made sense out of the storm,
I went way outside of your norm,
You still sit and watch my maelstrom,
Just waiting for the mail to come..

Keep your taint away from me,
All I want is to be able to see,
See all that you took from me,
See you laughing at your last breath..

Why hasn't it come yet?
What is making you forget?
I thought I told you it was time to go,
And let your frozen heart swallow you

If you had ever seen my eyes ablaze,
All the hairs on your neck would raise;
Maybe you would see things my way,
And I wouldn't make your heart evaporate..

But what could I expect of your belligerence,
Coupled with your infamous malevolence;
My oracle says this could last close to forever,
Good thing I've got most of my life ahead of me
