Impressions (The tender breath of Apathy)

by Vlad   Mar 8, 2008

To close my eyes, to fall asleep, to dream,
Recall the memories once left aside,
Forget to greet the morning - cold and grim,
Forget about shame – embrace the night.

To touch your tender skin, to hear your voice,
Recall each charming moment we have met,
To catch a shining smile in your eyes,
To hold your hand in mine, and to forget.

The dancing whispers in your moonlit hair,
Spinning in circles of a passionate embrace,
Touching our faces with exalted care,
To fall into an endless sea of grace.

The golden song of falling autumn leaves
Is carrying your name, embraced in winds
To leave its frail music on my lips,
And to be held forever in the refuge of my dreams.
