I am your shadow
I've been watching you
knowing your every thought
and doing what you do

you take me to the park
then walk me to the shops
I'll copy your every movement
until the day you drop

you cannot lose me now
and i think you never will
I've been with you through health
and beside you when your ill

that person you call your partner
is nothing compared to me
i will never leave you
i will not let you be free

i follow you every day
from the cockerels crow
and will continue doing so
