Our Flaws

I see a lot of my work in you
This we've always shared
It takes me long to find these things
But I see you've always cared

How can we make this be?
How can it be okay?
When our work reflects our feelings
And it's always been that way?

So we go on by ourselves
As we lay down all the laws
Will we always be the same?
Or will we always have our flaws?

    Simple, but in a good way. This had a message to tell, and you did it nicely. Everyone is flawed, its learning to deal, that is the real thing to get over.

    I really enjoyed in this piece. It is worded nicely and it holds an amount of greatly expressed emotions that I can relate to. You are able to portray very heartfelt feelings within short poems and this piece is not an exception. I admire the simplicity and inner beauty of this poem.
    The first stanza is my favorite one.
    The whole poem has really good flow, too.
