Tears come to her eyes so frequently now,
Her smiles are hidden within.
All her joys turned into sadness,
And all because of him.
She looks herself up her room,
Hoping to never see his face again.
Everyone forewarned her, she thought,
Not to fall in love with her best friend.
Her school work is suffering,
Her parents don't know what to do.
She's abandoned all her family,
And even her friends too.
How could he have been so cruel?
She thought they were in love.
How could he just up and leave her
Without even a hug?
How could he have said those words?
And all those accusations?
She thought they were meant to be,
But now she knew she was mistaken.
A guy that once was so kind to her,
Now barely even waved.
She feels so lost, and so alone,
Like she's buried in a cave.
She sighs to her self, and lays on her bed,
As the tears continue stinging her cheeks.
She tries to fight it, but she loses once more,
And falls deep into sleep.
