What is life?

by vaibhav shah   Mar 13, 2008

What is life?
Is it an account
Of some dreams
That are never fulfilled
Or series of struggles
That are gifted frequently?

How does it look like?
Does it appear like a path
That will never come to an end
Or like an ocean- so vast
And full of water
But completely futile?

How does it work?
Does it act like a farmer
Ploughing his field for the whole day
But who has to wait for the rain alone
Or like a word
Depending always on an other word for its meaning?

Whatever is life does not matter
Whether it is a whole explanation or only a cover letter
Though it keeps us devoid of its meaning
But it is as fresh as zephyr of morning
It is full of passion and action
We can proceed without any caution.

Life does not exist without challenge
It has always a tendency to change
One who enjoys fully his life
He can play with an edge of knife
Unlimited resources are there in this huge shop
Let us drink life to its last drop.

I like this! It's really good! It's rich with metaphors and analagies which really help you make your point. The only thing I would change would be some words-'How does it look like' should be 'what does it look like' and where you said 'but who has to wait for the rain alone' should either be 'who has to wait for the rain alone' or 'but has to wait for the rain alone' this is really, really good though!

    Rock on!
