Tears of Sanity

Tears of worry
Tears of pain
Whatever the cost
That will keep me sane

I cry for you
I cry for me
I cry to keep
My sanity

The tears they pour
Every night
They hold me close
They hold me tight

I fall asleep
My face stained through
The tears keep coming
Every time I think of you

    Another amazing write from you young lady! I'm quite surprised you have so few poems submitted considering how long you've been a member...not that I have any room to talk on that subject :)

    I wish I could tell you that things get much easier as you grow older...but I can't. You just grow numb to certain emotions and don't let them show so much anymore.

    OMG! This poem was simply amazing! I loved the emotion you put into it. I can really relate to it. This guy raped me a few months ago and when ever I think of him I cry beyond my control. Ppl don't realize that it's all I can do to cope with how I feel. I really appreciate this poem.
