Bring him back

Please send him back from heaven, for I do miss him so,
I fear I'll lose him forever; his heart I wont let go,
Tears cascade down my cheeks when I think about him here,
Please make my dream come true dear Lord, for I do need him near.

You do not no the troubles I have without him be my side,
Alone in my room I hide beneath the blankets, just to hide,
To escape the way my life runs now, I think about him close,
Out of all the pain I go through, I miss him the most.

So please my dear Lord do answer my prayer,
He is my only true father I have no spare,
Just my one daddy I do know and love,
Sadly he is with you high and above.

Dear Lord please just grant me this one thing,
You don't know the joy my daddy would bring,
He'd spin me in the air, because I'm his little girl,
When I'd practice my dances he'd help me with my twirl.

Thinking of the memories I fall to my knees and cry,
Why did you take him Lord? I always wonder why.
I know I'm being selfish and you need him there as well,
If you have not figured it out dear Lord I need him here to tell.

Tell me what it was like to hold me in his arms,
To be scarred of boys bringing me their harm,

Did you lye in your bed too asking yourself why?

Dear Lord I'm begging here please just do this for me,
I don't know if crying works but I will lye here and plea,
Please just give me this one chance to see him again,
I haven't seen him for so long it's been way back when.
