Love Gone Wrong

One day she met this amazing boy
They didn't know it at the time
But they were destined for love and joy

When she arrived home that very day
He didn't realize, but he, that boy
was the one for she lied down at night to pray

About half a year later her prayers were answered
Finally, after a while, they were happily together
never would they part, they were completely assured

But then one day, came a stormy fight
5 months of love, joy, and laughs
All to a mere mistake, flew out of sight

Three months later, everything had died
Their happiness, love and memories too,
Because no more was he, in whom she could ever confide

He lied, and played her like a game
said he loved and cared for her
and left her with a crying shame

When she told him she loved him and walked away
nothing again could ever hold the tears from falling
Her heart slowly turned that day, to a color even darker than grey

She felt for him like no other ever would
but in his eyes, was not what he knew
but what everyone else misunderstood

Even to this very day, he looks at her in pitty me eyes
but to his surprise, she doesn't react
Because finally, she realizes, they're only real lies

He doesn't care, not even a bit
nor has he ever, though he said he did
She knows otherwise now, she will admit

No one will ever know the pain she hides
until the day that his prayers are answered
That day when he wishes and she finally dies

In the note she will hold, dear to her heart
It will read with blood painted and splattered
"I told you I would die for you, so here's to the start"
