It's one o'clock in the morning
Of another lonely night
I sit and wait impatiently
For just another sight

My love you see is far from me
A pain so hard to bear
I need to be alone with you
Once more our love to share

Without you my precious love
My life has little meaning
To hold you close within my soul
Still sets my mind a dreaming

One day we will be together
Of that I am so sure
To stroll among the heather
And share our love so pure
