For Baby Joshua

You lay there in your hospital bed
All pale and wan and full of dread
Tubes all over you and mummy by your side
You look so sad my darling, please don't cry.

A brave little man
With God at his side
You will grow strong
And be mummy's pride

Soon you will be home
And getting into bother
A growing thriving lad
And a joy to his mother.
