Memories

by True Love Never Dies   Apr 10, 2008

Sitting there astride your bike
It rolls away the years
To the time we spent together
Not having any fears

That soon came to an end my love
Through no fault of our own
It was my parent’s interference
That we could not be one.

35 years have come and gone
But this I know for sure
I loved you then, I love you still
And all the time in-between.

To see you filled my heart with joy
It always skipped a beat
Your touch thrilled me then as it does today
But this we can always keep.
