In the Sky

The whole world stops to watch as time passes by,
Dreams come and go like the days,
People look up, hoping to see their future written in the sky.
I reach out my hand
and feel her faith bleeding through her skin,
though all her hope was carried away by a reckless heart
yet she still sees the light
no matter how dark it gets.
I try so hard to see the world through her eyes
The sun lightens up her face,
rays of sunshine through her hair.
There's a little part of her
that runs through my veins.
A little part of her that reflects back at me me in the mirror
that reflects in all of us.
Time passes by so fast when you're standing still.
We all are just looking up at the sky,
just trying to find a way
